Sweet Spot by Susan Mallery (Keyes Sister #2)

Book Description: If only her life was more sinful than sweet…
“Responsibility” should be Nicole Keyes’s middle name. After all, not many people would sacrifice their lives to run the family bakery and raise a younger sibling. But with Nicole’s twin sister now blissfully married and her younger sis turning out more femme fatale than girl next door, superreliable Nicole is getting sick of putting everyone else’s needs first!
Enter Hawk. The deliciously sexy former NFL player offers Nicole a taste of the freedom she craves. Hawk may know the way, blindfolded, to her sweet spot, but Nicole’s not about to let him get close enough to break her heart. Of course, she might not have a choice in the matter if Hawk’s past keeps getting in the way of their present…

Book Review:

I was curious to see what Ms. Mallory was going to do for Nicole's story. In Sweet Talk Nicole was very hard on Claire and came across as a bit of a b*tch. I liked that about Nicole and I was happy to see that even though she's a little bit softer, you still saw a lot of the toughness that was in the first book.

Nicole feels she has gotten a raw deal in life. Her twin sister Claire left when she was six because she was a piano prodigy and has just reconnected with her after 20 years. She caught her baby sister that she practiclly raised in a comprising position with her husband. She is also still recovering from knee surgery. So Nicole has had a rough few months.

I love Hawk and Nicole I felt there was more chemistry between them then there was with Claire and Wyatt. There is also a secondary storyline between Hawk's daughter Brittany and the Raoul (foster kid that Nicole takes in).

Rating 4.75
